Our food bank has truly been a blessing to many families in the community. Due to our recent restructuring, and donations from several organizations including local churches and merchants, Rittman area Girl Scouts, and annual US Postal Service food drive, we have been able to broaden and expand our reserves into one of the largest in the community.

The Administrator over our Food Bank displays great concern for the hungry.  He makes sure that the shelves are full and ready to meet the needs of our community.  This outreach ministry is based on 1 John 3:17 (KJV),  "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"  As the Lord continues to bless the Eastern Road Church of God, we'll continue to reach out to the hungry in our community.
